  • September 18, 2006_San Diego, CA_People's Liberation Army (Chinese Navy) sailors head to a tour bus from Pier 2 at  San Diego Naval Base at 32nd Street, after arriving on Qingdao, a destroyer, along with Hongzehu, a support ship, at the navy base, Monday morning. The group was headed to the San Diego Zoo, where they disembarked and to view the Midway and the Star of India, from their buses. This makes only the third visit by Chinese Navy ships to a mainland U.S. port (the second to San Diego; the other was in 1997).   • We All Fall Down/Experimental Fix--Susan Hanson receives experimental botox injections to alleviate pain as a result of being injured by her former fiancŽ in 1993, when she was still using "crystal meth". He was high and picked her up over his head and then threw her on the floor. She landed on her back in a fetal position. The impact crushed a bone on the left side of her lower back and caused permanent nerve damage to her left arm and neck.
